President Bill Clinton to Help Celebrate 10th Anniversary of His Library

It’s difficult to believe but the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum will be 10 years old on November 18 of this year. In honor of the occasion, there will be a 10-day celebration throughout Little Rock. Entitled Decade of Progress, the event not only recognizes the Clinton Library anniversary, it also highlights the major progress that has taken place in Central Arkansas during the decade.

Here’s a breakdown of Clinton-related events that are scheduled. 

  • Oct. 15-Nov 30: Handbags for Hillary, Esse Purse Museum and Store, Little Rock
  • Nov. 8-23: Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre: George Fisher’s Political Cartoons from Clinton Years Exhibit, Little Rock
  • Nov. 11: 100th Birthday of Daisy Bates Featuring Ernest Green. Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock
  • Nov. 11: Range Day, Central Arkansas Nature Center, Little Rock
  • Nov. 12: 10-Year Panel Discussion on the Clinton School, Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock
  • Nov. 12: “396 Days: From Arkansas to America” documentary, Ron Robinson Theater, Little Rock
  • Nov. 12: “The War Room,” documentary, Ron Robinson Theater, Little Rock
  • Nov. 13: Throwback Thursday: Party in the Pavilions, River Market District, Little Rock
  • Nov. 13: “The Hunting of the President,” documentary with Q&A session by director Harry Thomason, Ron Robinson Theater, Little Rock
  • November 14, 17-18: Clinton Tour of the Governor’s Mansion, Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, Little Rock
  • Nov. 14: The Greasy Greens in Concert, Historic Arkansas Museum, Little Rock
  • Nov. 15: Celebrate 10: A Community Concert, Simmons Bank Arena, North Little Rock
  • Nov. 15: Range Day, Central Arkansas Nature Center, Little Rock
  • Nov. 15: Science of the Saxophone, Museum of Discovery, Little Rock
  • Nov. 16: The Work Continues: Celebrating 10 Years of the Clinton Presidential Center Panel Discussion: Impact of the Clinton Presidential Center, Clinton Presidential Center, Little Rock
  • Nov. 16: The Work Continues: Celebrating 10 Years of the Clinton Presidential Center Day of Action, Clinton Presidential Center, Little Rock
