Little Rock
Little Rock sits on the banks of the Arkansas River in Pulaski County, located in the center of the state. And with a population of over 200,000 people, it's the largest city in Arkansas and definitely the place to find a good time at a great value.
Little Maumelle River
If you are on the lookout for a canoeing or kayaking venture, the Little Maumelle River Water Trail is an easily accessible paddling option in Little Rock. The scenic views you can find here include cypress trees and wildlife that range from warblers to wading birds. The Little Maumelle River flows to the south of Pinnacle Mountain and east to the Arkansas River.
A taste of Arkansas
Any local will tell you that the best food around can be found in the dives and mom and pop shops that offer up the food that Arkansans love the most. Venture past the chains and sample all of the great local restaurants that we have to offer. Check out the two locations featured in this video: The Rail Yard and Hill Station.
