Sporting Events
From Arkansas Travelers and Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball to Razorback football, there’s always a sporting event happening in Arkansas. Neither of those your favorite? Don’t worry! The Natural State is home to basketball, volleyball, golf, track, cross country, gymnastics, swimming and tennis, so put on your team’s colors and yell yourself hoarse cheering them on.
Each February, the Tyson Invitational brings the biggest names in professional and collegiate track and field to Fayetteville. The area has hosted events like the 2009 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament, the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas LPGA Championship and the prestigious Western Amateur golf tournament.
