Mushroom I.D. Workshop

Discover the fungus among us at Lake Chicot State Park with the Gulf South Mycological Society. The morning includes a presentation on mushroom anatomy and common species found for the season. The group will take a break from 12– 1 p.m. for lunch. Food will not be provided, so bring a picnic and enjoy your lunch in the park. The afternoon will begin with a discovery expedition on the Delta Woodlands Trail and end with a group identification discussion. Water, insect repellant, and sturdy shoes recommended.
