STORY WALK READ ALOUD: THE LEAF THIEF

Join a park interpreter to read aloud the story The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming while strolling Lake Ponder Trail. Instead of turning the page, simply walk to the page! This is a great way to incorporate literacy and physical activity as well as create an opportunity for family bonding.

Although reading aloud with a park interpreter is a one-time event, StoryWalk® can be enjoyed as a self-guided activity. This story will be on display from Friday, October 11 – Sunday, October 20. Lake Ponder Trail is a 0.5-mile, flat, paved, and ADA-accessible trail.
