A Holiday to Remember This December

The holiday season is a wonderful time to make family memories in The Natural State. This December, experience the sights and sounds of the holidays with the entire family at these fun and festive events!

Hoxie hosts the 8th annual Dickens in the Park/Winter dickens in the park hoxie2Wonderland on Dec. 3. The Hoxie Service Center is decorated with scenes straight from the writings of Charles Dickens. Children can visit with Santa in his workshop and Mrs. Claus is on hand to help the kids write a letter to the North Pole. Enjoy tea with Queen Victoria and sample wassail and cookies. Marion welcomes the holidays with Christmas on the Square on Dec. 3. The annual event features performances by the Marion High School band and choir, visits with St. Nick, arts and crafts vendors, a variety of food trucks and a train ride. Pocahontas hosts the 30th annual Candy Cane Lane on Dec. 19-24. Maple Street is transformed into a holiday wonderland with candy canes and Christmas lights lining the streets.
