Welcome to June! In the Arkansas Delta region of The Natural State, that means it’s time for some great festival fun!

It’s Farm Fest 2016 in Wynne on June 9-11. The festival features barbecue cooking contests with youth and adult divisions, a carnival, games for kids, arts and crafts and a variety of food vendors. Musicalentertainment will be provided by Eric Gayles on Friday night and Saturday evening features a performance by Andy Griggs.

Tyronza is the site for the 14th annual Stars & Stripes Festival on June 10-11. Celebrate the 90th anniversary of the city of Tyronza with a big birthday party! The fun starts on Friday evening at 7 with live music and a carnival, followed by fireworks at 9:30. Saturday’s fun begins at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and a 5K run. Beginning at 10 a.m., the arts and crafts booths and the food booths open to the public. Throughout the rest of Saturday, there will be a parade, games for kids and adults, and fun for the entire family. To learn more, call 870-487-2168.
