Damascus
Damascus is a town located on U.S. Highway 65 around 20 miles from Conway. The town was located near the Titan II missile base that operated from the 1960s until 1980 and this story can be found in the book and documentary Command and Control.
Damascus is also near the Gus Blass Scout Reservation, which is a 3,200 acres Boy Scout Camp owned and operated by the Quapaw Area Council headquartered in Little Rock.
