Greers Ferry

Founded 50 years ago, Greers Ferry has become one of Arkansas’s most popular tourist destinations for family vacations and group travel. Located on the shores of the lake that shares its name, Greers Ferry is ideal for those that love great fishing, water sports, boating and camping.

Its shining jewel, Greers Ferry Lake is among the state’s five largest lakes. It’s also an award-winning reservoir that serves as the national model for environmental cleanliness. Corps of Engineers campgrounds and commercial parks are available, along with first-class lodging, lakeside resorts and fine restaurants. Shopping and historical sites are other attractions around the lake and in the city.

The Little Red River below Greers Ferry Dam makes this area a prime cold water trout fishery as well.
