Sunset, S'mores, and Shooting Stars Island Excursion

It's time for the annual Perseids meteor shower, known for the best "shooting stars" of the season! It’s also National S’mores Day! Join park interpreters for a truly memorable experience – enjoy a scenic cruise of DeGray Lake at sunset before stopping off at an island for some star gazing and s’mores making. Space is limited; reservations can be made beginning noon the day before at the lodge front desk, (501) 865-5851. A minimum of six passengers must be registered one hour prior to departure. Stop by the lodge front desk to pay for your tickets before heading to the marina. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so that the boat may depart on time. We recommend you pack a bottle of water and a beach towel or blanket for lying on the beach.
