Way Back Kayak Trip

Looking for a truly memorable adventure? Join park interpreters for a full day, guided kayak experience on DeGray Lake that will take you from the dam all the way back to the state park –the scenic route, of course. Our journey along the original Caddo River channel through the foothills of the magnificent Ouachita Mountains promises to offer stunning views of rock outcrops, island formations, wildlife activity, tranquil coves, and much more. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are included, along with snacks and a pre-ordered lunch from the lodge’s Shoreline Restaurant. Previous paddling experience is preferred but not required. Participants should be in good physical condition and be prepared to paddle approximately 7 miles over the course of the day. Must be 13 or older to paddle solo.
