Centennial Day of Service: White Oak Lake State Park
What to know
Join the park staff as we do our part to keep Arkansas
beautiful. White Oak Lake State Park is one of the longest running partners in
the Adopt-a-Highway litter control effort. The cleanup begins at 8 a.m. on
Saturday, May 13th. Protective equipment will be provided. Please bring
appropriate clothing and water.
This event will be a part of the “100 Hours of Centennial Service” program, which is one of the many ways the Arkansas State Parks is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Participants can download a one-page service log and keep track of their hours. They can submit their hours for special, exclusive rewards at the 5, 40, and 100-hour levels. Prizes for those levels are 5-sticker; 40-neck gaiter; 100-Nalgene bottle and entry in grand prize drawing for one of the medallion-covered hiking sticks and free lodging certificates. If you have any further questions, please contact the park at (870) 685-2748. #ARStateParks100
