Clover Bend's glory years were during the Great Depression, when displaced farmers were given fresh starts on new homesteads. Several Farm Security Administration Project (originally known as the Resettlement Project) buildings from the1930s are preserved; listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Some of the buildings are available for meetings, reunions, social gatherings; walking tours; guided tours by appointment, educational programs available
