Historical Markers at Elm Springs

The camp at Elm Springs was a training camp for two years during the Civil War. More than 10,000 Confederate soldiers frequented the camp. Many of the soldiers of the Civil War are buried in the Elm Springs Cemetery. Two historic markers are located in the historic downtown area.
