Great Outdoors Month

Join the museum as we clean up and plant an herb and butterfly garden. We will sow seeds from the past as we recreate a “kitchen garden” near our summer kitchen exhibit. Children will also be given their own special biodegradable planting pots to take home with soil and planted seeds. Wear plenty of sun screen and bring water. Comfortable outdoor clothing that you will not mind getting dirty is suggested. All soil, tools, and seeds are provided by the museum.
