What to know
Pappy’s Bait & Mama’s Junk in Gillham AR is in the path of totality, we are in a remote rural area, with a large sky and beautiful stars, along with the frogs croaking and crickets chirping throughout the night. We have a great mountain view and a totality of 4 minutes 18.7 seconds. This is an experience of a lifetime, and we are excited to share this wonderful experience with you.
We will be offering RV and tent camping at our location. All RV campsites are 15×50 feet. Everything must fit inside this campsite space, including your vehicle and RV/Camper. Does your RV require a longer space? We will have a limited number of larger spaces available. To reserve these, please call our booking office at 601-663-6750.
Campsites do not have electric, sewage, or water hookups. RVs must be self-contained. Generators are allowed, we also allow your Solar power if you prefer. If you would like a campfire at your campsite, we will be offering a limited number of fire pits for your campsite for a $20.00 fee. You will not be allowed to have a fire without the fire pit due to the danger of a fire getting out. We do reserve the right to cancel building a fire due to weather conditions or other circumstance beyond our control.
We are offering Daily camping spot with the minimum being 2 days of Camping Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday is $120.00 plus tax per day. If you desire to come early and enjoy some of the Natural State beautiful scenery and some of the must-see things listed below, we are offering camping at $35.00 per night prior & after the Eclipse stay package. Check out time for all RV is 12:00 Noon on Tuesday April 9, 2024. Note: Prior and After the 2-night camping package we will not be able to offer all our services to you that is available during the 4-day festival .
Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash at all times. Pets are limited to dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, small reptiles (non-venomous), and other small well-behaved pets. Pets that show aggressive behavior such as growling, biting, lunging, or incessant barking or other vocalizations, will be required to be removed from the property. Wild (tamed) or mix dogs are NOT allowed, although these pets can be well-behaved pets, however, their presence can upset other animals. There will be a dog walking area for your pet, however if your pet can’t make it to the pet area to do number 2 it is your responsible to pick up after them.
Security will be provided throughout the festival area as well as the campgrounds. Please leave firearms secured inside your vehicle. We have a very low crime rate in our area, although these types of events bring in unwanted scammers and predators. Please be sure to always lock your RV’s and vehicles and report all suspicious activity to us to handle. Your safety is our main concern.
We are putting together four days of Flea Marketing, crafts, camping, carnival games, concessions, vendors, coin collector and an appraiser and activities to give this Eclipse a bit of festivity.
