1815 Louisiana Purchase Survey Equipment Demonstration

The 1815 survey of lands the United States acquired in the Louisiana Purchase was a major step in the settlement of Arkansas and points beyond of the new nation. Join us at the Delta Heritage Trail State Park visitor center for a demonstration of equipment like what was used to create the initial point for lands surveyed in Arkansas and several other states that is commemorated at nearby Louisiana Purchase State Park. Preregistration is not required and there is no charge for this event.
