American Indian Pottery

The Delta Heritage Trail journeys across a landscape that once was the home of numerous American Indians. Join us at the visitor center to explore how they fashioned pottery from items they found in the local area and the techniques they mastered in creating them. You can also try your hand at making your own piece to take home. Children are encouraged to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration is not required. A modest fee can be paid on arrival.
