First Day Hike

Start the new year off by getting outdoors with family and friends and experiencing the natural landscape that Delta Heritage Trail offers on a First Day Hike. This is your chance to participate in a nationwide event at Delta Heritage Trail State Park and receive your own participation sticker. Join us at the visitor center for an easy 1-mile guided hike on a gravel surface trail that lasts 45 minutes led by a park interpreter. Wear footwear that you are comfortable hiking in and dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring a water bottle. Drinking water is available at the visitor center. Children are encouraged to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for this program and preregistration is not required. #FirstDayHike #ARStateParks
