Helping Out a Toad
Visitor Center
What to know
A chorus of frogs and toads can be heard calling from the natural areas that are protected by Delta Heritage Trail State Park when hiking or riding the trail. Join us at the visitor center to explore how these special animals are adapted to survive in the tops of trees to deep in the waters the trail crosses. Unfortunately, many species of frogs and toads are on the decline and you will be given the opportunity to take action to help them out by creating your own toad house to take home with you to set out. Preregistration is is not required. Children are encouraged to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. A modest fee can be paid on arrival.
COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY. SPACE MAY BE LIMITED.
