Meet The Team That Ran On Delta Heritage Trail and Made Holiday Celebrations Possible

Here is your chance to be transported back in time to when Delta Heritage Trail State Park was an active rail line and see models of railroad cars that operated along it in the early 1900s. Join us as we discover with a park interpreter how the team of railroad cars connected the many communities along its course and made holiday celebrations possible by transporting people to visit loved ones, picking up and delivering presents and greeting cards, and bringing the ingredients for holiday meals. This was all in addition to the regular work of transporting harvested trees and agriculture products such as cotton. Come see how the team got all of this work done. There is no charge for this event and preregistration is not required.
