Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2023: Nature Hike

Join park staff for an approximately 3/4-mile hike to the creek on the War Eagle Trail. We will start at the trail parking area just past the pavilion where we will cover a few topics on hiking safety before we head out. Along the way we will talk about hiking, animal habitats, trees, and Arkansas State Parks. After our hike we will do an art project to create a souvenir you can keep from the park. We will cover a few topics on some of the outdoor badges including Trees, Hiker, Animal Habitats and Outdoor Art. This is a moderate trail that has some steep elevation so please wear appropriate, closed toe shoes and bring water.
