Sunset Revelations

Lake Chicot State Park is often touted as having the best sunsets in Arkansas. As the sun begins to sink below the trees on the opposite bank and even further below the horizon, the sky illuminates in spectacular colors ranging from vibrant orange, delicate purples, gentle greens, and subtle pinks. These colors reflect off the lake’s surface and create a view that is almost as peaceful as it is breathtaking. Don’t take our word for it, come experience it for yourself. Warm clothes and flashlights are recommended. This program depends on the weather so call the visitor center before 5 p.m. to ensure the program is still active.
