1815 Base Line Survey Campfire Circle

Evenings are often a good time for a quick orientation to the park. This evening, we begin our campfire program with a quick welcome and park orientation. We will finish with a short program looking into the 1815 base line survey. Join a park interpreter to get acquainted with the park and hear about how Joseph C. Brown surveyed the base line for the Louisiana Purchase and helped establish the initial point for the survey of much of the territory in the Louisiana Purchase. Don’t forget to bring your camp chairs.
