Birding Basics: Bear Creek

Ever wonder what kind of bird was sitting in the tree by your campsite, or which one was singing a song to wake you up? Join a park interpreter to discover the joy of birding on Bear Creek Trail. We will cover the basics of using binoculars and field guides, as well as provide you with some tips on what to look for. All ages welcome. Binoculars and field guides will be available while supplies last. Hike is 1-mile in length. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and don’t forget insect repellent.
