Mushroom I.D. Workshop

Come be a fungi with Jay Justice of the Mycological Society of Arkansas. Mr. Justice will present "Edible, Poisonous, and Medicinal Fall Mushrooms of Arkansas." The morning will consist of a 2-hour talk and power point presentation. After lunch the group will meet at the Bear Creek Lake Nature trailhead to walk along the 1-mile loop trail and practice identifying mushrooms found on Crowley's Ridge. Participants are responsible for their own lunch. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water! Space is limited, please preregister and prepay by calling the visitor center at (870) 295-4040.
