St. Francis Gravel Classic
What to know
The St. Francis Gravel Classic is a bike ride on gravel roads through The Mississippi River State Park and The St. Francis National Forest. The ride consist of a 55, 25 and 15 mile rides on gravel roads. The last five mile for each distance is paved, everything else is gravel. The first three riders of each distance will be awarded prizes from our host and sponsors. We will set up a clock at the southeast end of Bear Creek Lake Dam. This will be the finish line for the ride, and then you will ride 5 miles to The Mississippi River State Park on paved road 44, back to the post ride party and your vehicles. There is a short, but steep hill to climb to the finish clock. The 55 mile Ride has over 2,200 feet of elevation gain.
