Introduction to Birding

Visitor Center

What to know

Logoly State Park has over 100 species of birds recorded on park grounds, making it a hotspot for birds and humans that observe them. These humans, known as birders, represent a growing portion of Arkansas' population. Join park staff to learn more about the birds of Logoly State Park and the hobby of birding. This workshop will feature a 1-hour hike to seek out these feathered phenoms in their natural habitats within park forests. Binoculars will be available for participants that do not have their own. There is a modest fee that covers the cost of a bird field guide. Space is limited. Call or visit to reserve your spot early.
