Archeology Day - Cooking Like a Native

Meet the park interpreters to experience a Native American dish with a modern twist. Using one of the “three sisters” (maize, squash, and beans) we will attempt to replicate a meal that would have been popular fare for the agriculture practicing Natives that inhabited the Arkansas River Valley during a time
called the Mississippi period. This demonstration will last about 45 minutes, and yes, there will be samples!
