Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2021: Girl Scouts Hiking Workshop

Join the park interpreters at Petit Jean State Park for a morning adventure of what the dos and don'ts of hiking at Petit Jean State Park are! We will go in depth of the safety precautions needed while out on the trail, how to handle emergencies, and what you need to bring. This workshop lasts all morning and concludes with a plan for your group to venture out into the park. Consider bringing a sack lunch and perhaps do a hike on your own (with family or troop) afterwards. This workshop is open to Girl Scouts of all ages, but will have special emphasis for Brownies and Juniors working on their Hiking badges. Though no fee is required, space is limited; please register at GirlScoutsDiamonds.org/events by September 3, 2021. #GSLSP2021
