Eagle Watch Tour

Lake Ouachita State Park

What to know

Lake Ouachita provides remarkable habitat for wintering bald eagles. Each year, juvenile and mature birds can be seen among the trees along the shoreline or flying high in the sky above during our lake cruises. Join us for your chance to see these magnificent raptors up close and in the wild. We will also look for other migratory wildlife such as coots, grebes, cormorants and loons that call Lake Ouachita home for the winter months. Be prepared, it is chiller and windier on the water than on land. Dress warmly and don't forget your camera and binoculars. Please make reservations and purchase tickets at the visitor center or by calling (501) 767-9366.  Please arrive fifteen minutes early because the boat must depart on time. Payment taken at visitor center. Will require at least six participants signed up for the tour to make.
