Apothecary 101 Class

In this one-day class, students will learn the basics of beginning a personal herbal apothecary, using herbs to produce tinctures and salves.  We will begin with making single herb tinctures, followed by a simple salve.  Making liniment will also be included in the class. There will be a discussion of some plants, perhaps growing in your own backyard, that can be used to produce herbal remedies. Students will go home with two tinctures, a salve and liniment, as well as the knowledge and ability to create more.
