Build Your Herbal Apothecary
What to know
Explore the amazing world of herbs! In this class, you will be making a tincture, an herbal salve, a cough syrup, a bug bite remedy, a dream pillow, and more. We will walk around the beautiful Heritage Herb Gardens and explore useful and medicinal plants.
A fee is due upon registration. An additional class and materials fee is due at the beginning of class. Registration closes two weeks prior to the start of class. This course is for those 16 and up.

Meet your instructor: Linda Odom
Multi-talented crafts person Linda Odom is known for her fun and patient teaching style. Linda took over the soap shed at the Ozark Folk Center in 2011 and opened the Village Apothecary Shop in 2012. Her many naturally scented soaps keep that whole corner of the craft village smelling clean and sweet. In her herbal, apothecary, fiber arts, and soap making classes you are sure to have fun and come out with the ability to continue in your new skill.
