White River Pioneer Rendezvous

Experience a primitive camp, as well as some of the knowledge and skills used by Arkansas pioneers traveling up the White and Black Rivers well before Jacksonport became a town in 1853. Watch a variety of heritage skills demonstrations including fire starting, fiber crafts, flintknapping, keel boat travel, cooking and more. Co-sponsored by the Early Arkansaw Reenactors Association. School Day is November 10th, reservations are required; please contact the park for more information and to book your group at (870) 523-2143. Event is open to the public Saturday November 11th.
