Arkansas Spring Break Week: Native Mammals

Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park

What to know

Imagine if you were an American Indian living here over 1,000 years ago – hunting animals for food, using their fur for clothing, and fashioning animal bone into tools. Mammals would have helped your everyday life quite a bit! Join a park interpreter to learn about some of these furry friends and how American Indians used them for survival. During the program, you will even get a chance to feel some mammal furs! This program is part of Arkansas Spring Break Week, so don’t miss out! #ARSpringBreak
