Centennial Celebration: To Buckman's Pool and Back

As part of the Arkansas State Parks Centennial Celebration at Mount Magazine State Park, join special guest, Dr. Curtis Varnell, local geologist and historian, on a hike to a remnant of the early 20th century, Buckman's pool! Along the way, guests will learn about early homesteaders as they walk along an old wagon road through a beautiful natural setting. This hike is mostly flat, with a short incline to Buckman's pool with uneven terrain. Seasonally appropriate clothes, hiking shoes, and water are all recommended.
