What to know

This event is designed for homeschoolers to learn about the American Indians who lived at the Parkin site. Students will receive a guided tour of the remains of the Casqui Village. They will learn about the pottery that was found in the excavations and discover facts about the daily lives of the American Indians including the food they ate, tools and weapons they used, and their interaction with the Hernando de Soto expedition. Early registration is encouraged as slots fill quickly.
