Iron Bars and Hard Time: Powhatan Jail Open House

Have some time to kill? Come do a little time in the Powhatan jail and learn about crime and punishment in early Arkansas. Hang out in a jail cell, talk with a jailer, and don't forget to take a photo as evidence! Park staff will have the building open between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. so come whenever you'd like and explore as long as you want during those hours.
