125-Mile Challenge

In honor of the 160th anniversary of the Battle of Prairie Grove, this year we are hosting a 125-Mile Challenge from January 1st-December 7th. Leading up to the battle, Federal troops marched 125 miles to Prairie Grove. Throughout the year, visitors are welcome to participate in this challenge and walk our 1-mile paved trail or our 0.25-mile Memorial Wall loop. In the Hindman Hall Museum and visitor center, we will have a challenge check-in area where visitors can track their mileage throughout the year. Prizes will be awarded for milestones of 25-miles, 50-miles, 75-miles, 100-miles, and for the completion of the challenge.
