Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area
What to know
This adventure program is for Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts. Spend the morning paddling on Beaver Lake while guided by a park interpreter. We will learn the basics of paddling as we explore a calm area of Beaver Lake. Recreational kayaks, paddles and lifejackets will be provided. Meet at the education pavilion near the Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area visitor center. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen, and wear clothes that can get wet. This activity fulfills the Paddling Award/Badge for Senior Girl Scouts. Space is limited to 10 participants; to hold your spot please register for the program at GirlScoutsDiamonds.org/events by September 1, 2022. There will be a $20 plus tax fee per person, which you will pay on site at the park at the start of the program. #GSLSP2022
