Travel in early Arkansas was not easy, most used the river instead of roads. Keel boats were an important part of river travel. Join the Early Arkansaw Reenactors at the board walk near the weigh-in pavilion, where they will have their circa-1800 keel boat in the water. They will tell you about their boat and equipment.
