Tree Hike

Lake Dardanelle State Park

What to know

The area surrounding Lake Dardanelle has a diverse history. The area had many pioneers and trappers who came and lived off the land, as well as Cherokees who settled here when they were pressured to leave their homeland in the east in the early 1800s. The climate was good and food was abundant. Join a park interpreter at the amphitheater and we will travel down the Meadowbrook Trail and discover some of the tree species vital for all who settled this area. COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT FOR GUEST AND STAFF SAFETY. SPACE MAY BE LIMITED.
