Join us for an in-depth look at decorations and explore symbols left by the Plum Bayou people here at Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park, formerly Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park. The Plum Bayou people preserved these symbols on artifacts that reveal their long-established beliefs that brought the prehistoric community together. You will be able to tell your story by creating your own symbols on a native gourd provided by the park.
