What to know
Join a park interpreter every Thursday in August to explore American Indian crafts. The craft program on August 15 gives participants the opportunity to garnish a gourd of their own. American Indian people used gourds for several purposes, holding water or food, making drums or rattles, decoration, and more. This activity is appropriate for all ages, all materials are provided.
Space is limited. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is not required.
