Bread (and Butter) Workshop
Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources
What to know
Life is better with fresh baked bread, and what goes better with bread than freshly made butter! It was common practice to make your own bread in the 1920s. Daily or weekly, bread making was happening all over south Arkansas. Join our staff and experience the fun of bread making. Using simple techniques and simple ingredients you will make a dough for a loaf of white bread and butter to go with it. Have you never made bread before? Not a problem! Anyone can do it. It can get messy, and takes a little time and effort, but what a reward when you smell that fresh baked loaf! All supplies included in registration fee. Space is limited. Please call the museum to reserve your spot today at (870) 725-2877.
