A New Year's Celebration of Lights
The Museum Auditorium
What to know
Come to the museum in celebration of the new year, using an old technique in photography, dating back to the late 1920s. Light painting is a great way to create images and illusions using a camera, a light source and a little bit of practice. Prepare yourselves, because when the camera shutter is open, and the room is dark, the film acts as a blanket canvas. It's as if the image is being drawn or painted by the source and moving through the camera's lens. Please feel free to contact the museum at (870) 725-2877 with any questions.
