Arkansas was a leader in the fight for women’s suffrage in America, with a group of determined women pushing for the right to vote as early as 1869. Listen to a lady in the heat of the fight, Adolphine Fletcher Terry, as she shares her experiences for the right to vote. Other speakers will be Geroganne Sisco, Director of Education at the Old State House Museum and Kathleen Pate, Chair of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commemoration Commission.
