Build Your Own Bird Feeder

One of the best ways to spot different kinds of birds is to draw them in with a bird feeder. Meet with a park interpreter at Pavilion #2 (by the boat ramp) for the chance to create your very own wooden bird feeder. Choose to build from two options: a suet holder or a seed tray. You can take your feeder home for a modest fee, or put your name on it and leave it at the park (to be hung up) for free. We will be using wood glue and small brad nails, so parents may want to attend with younger children.
