Canceled: FlapJack 20

Pavilion #1 (By the Playground)

What to know

This event has been canceled due to unsafe weather conditions forecast for the area.

Originally developed to help Boyscouts get a badge, the FlapJack 20 is a 20-mile night hike that takes place on the Cane Creek Lake Trail. It is now open to the public for everyone to enjoy! Strike out on this nighttime adventure and see what the wilderness holds after the sun goes down! Once you finish, come back to the meeting place at Cane Creek State Park’s pavilion #1 for a campfire, games, and of course, a flapjack breakfast. Multiple extraction checkpoints mean that you do not have to complete the full 20 miles. Just do what you can. The trail will be clean and well-marked. Trained park personnel will be available at all times. A hiker fee covers your meal and a small gift bundle. All participants must be signed up by Tuesday, January 7th, 2020. For more information, please contact Park Interpreter Austin Davidson at (870) 628-4714 or email at austin.davidson@arkansas.gov .
