Jurassic Walk

Located between the two natural divisions of the Gulf Coastal Plain and the Mississippi Alluvial Plain, Cane Creek State Park is home to fossils from the time that Arkansas was under seawater. Join a park interpreter finding these fossils and get a chance to take an imprint of one home. This program will include a short walk to the boat ramp. Please wear something you wouldn’t mind getting wet.
